With increasing weather extremes polytunnel growing really is a powerful ally in the battle against climate change. As well as delightfully extending the growing season, Kim will explain how to use a polytunnel or greenhouse all year round to produce growing whatever the weather.

Kim will cover lots of time and money-saving, resilient tips and tricks during the session. These will include the best self-seeding produce for seedlings for free, mixed planting and other ideas for better natural pest control, watering methods for low maintenance and how to grow edibles over winter.

Topics covered:

  • Polytunnel maintenance and care for the best results
  • How to work with wildlife to create a fuss-free, biodiverse under-cover space
  • Seed saving and resilience boosting tricks and tips
  • What to plant now for produce over winter

Our Masterclasses are delivered from within the surroundings of our brand new organic demonstration garden and are all led by our team of horticultural experts – Emma O’Neill, Chris Collins & Kim Stoddart.

Masterclasses allow you the opportunity to discover each topic in more depth and detail. Each session is three hours long and includes refreshments and a guided tour of our organic demonstration garden.

Masterclasses are suitable for gardeners of all levels.
