Join Garden Organic at our cultural celebration workshop, 'Growing from your Roots' in the beautiful surroundings of Martineau Gardens in Birmingham. This event is a celebration of the multicultural heritage of food growing in Birmingham and beyond and is funded by the Big Lottery, Heritage Lottery Fund.

During the day you can attend workshops on growing and cooking exotic crops. The event will also feature some of the life stories of growers from around the globe, who have come to settle in Birmingham.

There will also be the opportunity to register your interest and develop ideas for future projects to work with Garden Organic.

You can read more about our work growing unusual and ethnic crops here.
